What the 27th Annual Destin Seafood Festival is all about...
The official art poster typically portrays what the Destin Seafood Festival is about - seafood, fishing, art, live music, and fun - in picturesque Destin. Destin is home of the largest fishing fleet in the state of Florida and has become known for the beautiful emerald-green waters of our Gulf Coast. This prestigious event was originated by the wives of the fishermen and kicks off the Destin Fishing Rodeo held the entire month of October. Event dates are Oct. 7-9, 2005.

How to enter the competition...
Call the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce at (850) 837-6241 for an application and detailed information to be sent to you. Then deliver the original, unsigned artwork and a selection of artwork for the 3" round button to the Destin Chamber by 3pm on Tuesday, June 14, 2005. Judges will include the Seafood Festival Committee, Destin Chamber Board of Directors, and members from the Destin Charter Boat Association. The winner will be notified Friday, June 17, 2005, by 3pm.
